Yes I got an email literally seconds later. Now whether I get the 75 when all said and done is yet to be seen. I will at least get 1. I was surprised it allowed it because my platinum and blue card are linked.

Ah, thanks. wonder if they have someone reviewing the purchases manually to determine whether or not to issue the credit.

I doubt anything like that is manual with Amex. I like them because they are so technologically advanced at least with the interaction with their customers. I fully expect to get my 150. If I don't oh well didn't spend any money that I wasn't planning to spend anyway.

ARGH!!! Between my husband and I we have 4 AmEX cards and all of them have the offer. My ARGH is because we already paid in full (and tips).

This offer went around about 4 months ago and none of our cards had it and I even called AmEx (no go!). I waited until the last day to pay my cruise off in hopes it would magically appear and it did not...until now :(

I would love to buy cruise cash but it says for bookings only. Please keep us updated if anyone has any luck with it :)

My existing cruise is with a travel agent. If I make a payment will it show up as a charge by the TA or Carnival? Or can I call Carnival and make a payment that way?

Also, could I buy a gift card thru Carnival.com and it count towards this?

Thanks!!!

It states that you can't buy gift cards, not sure about the TA as I have never used one.

I know some people have had this offer before, but I just got it for the first time today so wanted to let everyone know. I already have my cruise paid off, but will use this offer to prepay for Cheers online. I'd assume that would qualify.

Check to make sure prepaid cards are accepted before attempting to use your prepaid card to take advantage of offers for these merchants. Excludes gift card purchases. Enrollment limited. Must add offer to Card and use same Card to redeem. Only US-issued American Express® Cards are eligible for this offer. Statement credit may be reversed if qualifying purchase is returned/cancelled. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your transaction as qualifying for the offer, you will not receive the statement credit. In addition, in most cases, you will not receive the statement credit if your transaction is made with an electronic wallet or through a third party or if the merchant uses a mobile or wireless card reader to process it. By adding an offer to a Card, you agree that American Express may send you communications about the offer."

Just loaded on my card, leaving Sat, will book Sept 3th Premier Casino cruise on the ship & get $100 OBC also. $75 is a $75 credit to your AX card applied when I book new cruise. Better than nothing. Tom

Did it ask you to create Gift Message for the Cruise Cash and a delivery date? That seems weird.

Yes it did. Just allows you to leave a message if it was a gift to something else. I always key a funny message to myself.

I finished the order. I haven't gotten the email from AMEX yet but the transaction is showing it is coming from a merchant named BON VOYAGE for $250

I thinking now that this isn't going to work. Because when I paid for my cruise fare online it came from a merchant named Carnival but this is coming from a merchant named Bon Voyage. Did your transaction state Bon Voyage also?
