Thanks all. So far she's a great shop service has been great everywhere. Messed up my clock and forward instead of back so have been early for everything. I believe the ship is almost completely booked yet hasn't felt it. One change I really dislike is the main mdr for lunch had the same menu. When was on the epic it changed daily.

Booked the Dunne river falls trip via iconcierge app and the tickets were delivered later that right by our cabin steward Anna who's great.

Bon voyage! Have a great trip.

One favor: Can you please post some photos of the casino, specifically if there is a Texas holdem poker table? Travelling with some friends this summer and the guys want to know if there is a poker table.

Thank you

Just off the Getaway and there is one poker table. They offer a couple if tournaments and a 2/5 NL cash game if they can scrape up enough players. The rake is obscene.

So last night had dinner in the Tropicana mdr. Our waiter was excellent. Haurice if you go I suggest you request this very attentive lots of personality waiter. Had a need tenderloin and gf had salmon both enjoyed everything but dessert. After went to the casino. And played some 3 card poker. Left up $140 got another drink and a hotdog to go from osheenans. Then off for a late snack on the balcony.

We upgraded our room somewhat late to a spa balcony when would just be 100 more. Stupid me to thought waste of money a spa pass but gotta keep the gf happy. Well turns if they should call the spa pass a heaven pass. Currently laying on a heated lounger watching the ocean and just 1 other is in here. Pure heaven.

So far my favorite drink are from the mojito bar. The pineapple coconut mojito is tasty.

Back to heaven for now

Hi,

Can you please tell me how you upgrade your room to the spa balcony? I will have my first cruise with the NCL Getaway coming up and want to see if I can upgrade from inside room to the one with balcony.

Thanks in advance.

I do want to know too. Our cruise is not until November though. I know that my parents do not want to pay more than couple of hundred more if they can upgrade to an oceanview or balcony.

I booked with an online travel agent. I kept watch of prices. I had 1st booked with a guaranteed balcony. When I saw the prices fall and the price I paid was only $100 different then the current price I called them up and asked if I could pay the difference of what I paid and the current prices. They were able to do my upgrade.

I just have to say once again how great having the spa pass is. This afternoon it was a little more crowded but still very quiet and easy to find a spot. But those treatment pools are amazing and this is coming from someone that never goes to a spa till now.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Just off last week. Cruise Director was Dan the Man from USA, now living in Philippines!

That name sounds familiar .. Maybe he was an ast CD?

Our last CDs on Getaway were JC Sanchez then Jersey Boy Joel and then...ubiquitous man . Can't remember to save my life! Actually, out of all our cruises the two Joel's are the only ones that I ever remembered on any ship.

Didn't pay much attention when the kids were little.

I will email dailies when I get back to whoever wants. So sorry for lack of updates. Wi-Fi just sucks. So yesterday went to Dunne river falls. Took with a tour from the ship. It was very organized. If you take this tour I highly suggest you take the 1st available. The drive was short and our driver was energetic and informative. Once to the park they break you into groups. Since we were there early we only had I would say a15 minutes wait. The falls were beautiful and not to challenging but quite long. Lots of pictures we took. After the falls we got out of the water and anyone that might of helped asked for tips. Also by now the line to do this was crazy long and much hotter. To get out of the falls you must walk through a small shopping mall with by far the most aggressive sales people I ever met. That part flat out sucked. After that we didn't want anymore shopping and went to the boat. Back to the spa which once again had Been a highlight. I also got a shave in the spa. It was awesome. Booked a massage for later.

So tonight was le bistro. It wss good. I swear this trip the service has been almost to fast.Le bistro took a hour. Other shops alwaya 2. The food great but my lamb dinner was 6 bites total. Also monday went to cagneys also took just an hour. Service both places good though. Oddly my gf favorite meal so far was the salmon from the mdr the first night off the classics menu.

In Grand cayman boat anchoring unsure still what adventure today will bring.

Finally, someone that can answer my question on time changes in Cozumel (since you will be there tomorrow)! The itinerary for your stop in Cozumel says you arrive at 11am. Will you post whether you arrived in Cozumel at 11am THEIR time? Since daylight savings time is now in effect, that would mean you are arriving at 12pm Miami time (and therefore would roll your clocks back 1 hour while in port). I read mixed reviews on CC, and believe it or not, the folks at Norwegian could not answer my question! Since you are there, I can reply on your response. Thanks!
