Ereggae Posted March 21, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2016 Does anyone know the fare from the ship to downtown? I hate that they moved to the new terminal as it's far from everything.
az_tchr Posted March 21, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2016 Suggest you will find your answer on the ports forum board.
snyniew Posted March 21, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 21, 2016 From Pan American Pier to OSJ w/o luggage should be around $10.
WestLakeGirl Posted March 21, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 21, 2016 (edited) Are you disembarking there or is it a port stop for you? Edited March 21, 2016 by WestLakeGirl
Ereggae Posted March 22, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted March 22, 2016 (edited) On embarkation day was going to check in, drop off carry-on then head over to Old San Juan. Edited March 22, 2016 by Ereggae
njkruzer Posted March 22, 2016 #6 Share Posted March 22, 2016 They have been using the Pan American terminal for embarkation for years. Use the downtown pier when it's a port stop.
Redtravel Posted March 27, 2016 #7 Share Posted March 27, 2016 Unfortunately Celebrity docks at Pan AMerican pier. To get anywhere, you need to take a taxi. Zones are set up for taxi fares. Even a short ride can be expensive. A one zone is $10. Two zones $15. We stayed in San Juan prior to sailing in January. Taxi drivers try to up the fares. Always ask what the fare is before entering the taxi. A ride from the pier to old San Juan is supposed to be $15. In Old San Juan, the US national park service runs free trolleys that provide good transportation. The trolley stops are posted on poles. Download a route map. Also, at El Morro, there is a free tram from the trolley stop uphill to the entrance. Old San juan is worth seeing. museums, forts, shops, restaurants, and beautiful architure are a real treat. Enjoy!
