projectorguy1 Posted March 29, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 29, 2016 Does NCL still offer the 5 dollar/per "deliver anywhere" large pizzas? Very little written about it if so... Was the taste good? Any topping options, photos, etc?

Any topping options, photos, etc? No. It's been rolled into the room service menu and hit with the room service convenience charge. Not delivered anywhere onboard - just your room. Not sure about quality as I never ordered it.
Capella Black Posted March 29, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 29, 2016 Hoping to find this out also - mostly does it still exist and how tasty is it (ideally what land-based pizza would you compare it to?)
Rare mking8288 Posted March 29, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 29, 2016 NCL's pizza - nothing to write home, take a picture for or post here on CC about - last time we tried it, was still free ... not enough cheese or tomato sauce. How does it compare - IMO, somewhere between Domino's and those frozen pizza specials in the supermarket's food section. With a $7.95 delivery charge for ordering that & anything else along with it on the ship - better off getting a BLT or even a grilled cheese sandwich. Disclaimer - now, relax & calm down for those cheering: food opinions are highly, highly subjective and personal. :D
Cruisercl Posted March 29, 2016 #5 Share Posted March 29, 2016 (edited) It was not available when we were on the Getaway in Feb 2016. I believe it is a gonner (it is gone).....:( We liked it as a late night snack; we love all pizza, not fussy. Rare BirdTravels Posted March 29, 2016 #6 Share Posted March 29, 2016 (edited) It was available on the Escape room service menu. We did not order it. Cheese, Veg, or Pepperoni. Actually had a page to itself. Edited March 29, 2016 by BirdTravels
Leavethekidswithmom Posted March 29, 2016 #7 Share Posted March 29, 2016 Does that mean you can get 2 pizzas for $7.95? If so its a good deal.

Just to clarify, I am talking about the $5 pizza with no delivery charge that NCL used to have. Pizza was available on the RS menu but not the same thing; it had the $7.95 charge. Maybe each ship is different. Edited March 29, 2016 by Cruisercl
Laszlo Posted March 29, 2016 #9 Share Posted March 29, 2016 The pizza on the Escape was actually pretty dam good. I believe they were cooked on stone. The offered 3-4 types
meatball_nyc Posted March 30, 2016 #10 Share Posted March 30, 2016 (edited) 2014 ... $5 pizza delivery anywhere on the ship (which is no longer available except for room service as posted above) was not good. Even after a long day of swimming and sunning at horseshoe bay beach in BDA. I only ate the crusts. My son ate half. Too much cheesey goo. Sorry NCL. P.S. We didn't even try it on our 2015 BA trip. Maybe they've improved it like laszlo posted above. Good luck. I would personally visit Arturo's on West Houston Street in NYC for pizza before your cruise!!! LrgPizza Posted March 30, 2016 #11 Share Posted March 30, 2016 Neither my son nor I had ever met a pizza in our lives that we wouldn't eat until the $5 delivery pizza. Even bad pizza was still edible to these pizza addicts, but that wasn't. It was so very terrible.
acharris1 Posted March 30, 2016 #12 Share Posted March 30, 2016 Is the room service pizza full size or personal pan size?
