We are travelling with RC in August on our very first cruise and wondered if you can take an iron and hair straightener on board. We have been told different information and just wanted some help on this, thank you in advance.

If RC stands for Royal Caribbean, the iron is a very definite no. Not sure about the hair straightener.

You will like get more answers if you post this in the Royal Caribbean forum.

No problem taking a hair straightener, curling iron, or hair dryer.

Should you need to see a full list of what is prohibited along with items such as irons the RCI Web Site has a long list of items. They do note some exceptions such as saying that Hair Straighteners are allowed.
