Carryon Luggage

It may not fit through a metal detector. Remember, your room may not be ready and you have to lug it around until your room is ready.

It's usually an issue with airlines, as you cannot carty it on an airplane and you may have to pay a fee if it is over 50lbs.

Our luggage we want to carryon measures 25X16X10. Is this going to be a problem with Carnival?

Thanks

For those guests who wish to carry on their luggage, it must fit through the security screening machine; when laying flat, it should not exceed 16 inches high x 24 inches wide (40.64cm x 60.96cm); the length of the bag is not a factor. Anything larger, must be checked-in with a curbside porter.

looks like you should be ok

If your luggage fits through an xray scanner, then it will not be a problem with Carnival. Remember you'll have to schlep it around until cabins open at 1:30, unless you are Diamond, Platinum, or purchased FTTF.

This is it. You will be able to carry it on. Since the length is not a factor you can throw out the 25 in measurement. Then your suitcase is 16 x 10. Which is well under the 16 x 24 in maximum.

Even before we were platinum we dropped our luggage off in our cabin. Always put any valuables in a back pack and kept it with us.

A lot of people wouldn't dream of carry on their luggage on or off the ship but we started doing it when I stopped hauling 5 pieces of luggage.
