Question about Brilliance

Hi,

I noticed that in April/May of this year, there is about a 4 or 5 day break for the Brilliance after is TA repositioning cruise to Barcelona. Is there a bunch of stuff that needs to be done in order to get ready for the Med. season? Or is it possible that they could be installing Voom internet prior to the Med. season starting? Do all ships have a break after they do a TA or repos.?

All RCI ships have a scheduled general maintenance every 5 years, but sail continuously otherwise. If there is a scheduled break it could be for specific upgrades or other improvements (or repairs) not tied to the typical maintenance period. But that would just be speculation.

Another cause for gaps in the schedule is the vessel could be chartered. No idea if this is the case.

CruiseCal shows a 4 night cruise immediately following the TA, so yes, it has to be a charter.

Wow!are they still around? I thought they went into the mists of time like a lot of others do. Used to love their songs, even bought an album!
