springs741 Posted May 9, 2016 #52 Share Posted May 9, 2016 (edited) When will bookings open up? When did Vista go onsale? Vista Bookings opened up in late January early February of 2015. If any of you are even thinking of sailing the Vista Sista I would like to suggest booking a refundable rate as soon as they open. Vista rates skyrocketed. I wanted to wait to book our last Med and TA until I was sailing. It cost me thousands by waiting just a few weeks for that 100/200 dollar OBC. Lesson learned. cruising maniac Posted May 9, 2016 #53 Share Posted May 9, 2016 How about the Carnival Vacation. Stick with the "V" theme.
Heirloom Posted May 9, 2016 #54 Share Posted May 9, 2016 Heard the name might be "Too Crowded".
tidecat Posted May 11, 2016 #55 Share Posted May 11, 2016 In all seriousness, given that John Heald always refers to the Vista as "Your Carnival Vista" why not actually put "Your" in the name, i.e. "Your Carnival Horizon" or "Your Carnival Spectacle". mz-s Posted May 11, 2016 #56 Share Posted May 11, 2016 In another thread, someone said it should be called Carnival Denny's which I thought was hilarious and also kind of truthfully sad.
loganvillemommy Posted May 11, 2016 #57 Share Posted May 11, 2016 Walmart of the Seas? No, wait, that sounds like a Royal Caribbean ship. Just joking anyway. Love Carnival. Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app
AnonomissX Posted May 12, 2016 #58 Share Posted May 12, 2016 Make it a triple, no a quadruple adults only deck plan, and call it the Carnival Serenity!
WLHyatt Posted May 12, 2016 #59 Share Posted May 12, 2016 I wonder if they would rename them older ship names. Similar to Cunard and Norwegian reusing some older ship names years ago. Holiday kinda fits the bill.

Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app Carnival probably feels like Target of the Seas given what's happened to them recently.
TxChick Posted May 12, 2016 #61 Share Posted May 12, 2016 Vista II will go to Miami;Vista I will go to Galveston; Breeze will go to Port Canaveral; Magic will go to New Orleans; Dream will go to Fort Lauderdale; One of the Conquest ships will move to the West Coast via the new larger Panama Canal. Just my predictions. Vista 2 will go to galveston. Just like the magic.

Irish_Rose Posted May 12, 2016 #64 Share Posted May 12, 2016 John Heald has stated that the new ship will have 7 letters in her name. I guess Horizon now has an edge.
bakersdozen12 Posted May 12, 2016 #65 Share Posted May 12, 2016 John Heald has stated that the new ship will have 7 letters in her name. I guess Horizon now has an edge. Yes, I agree. And I was just watching his Live from the Vista video and he said that the Vista 2 "may or may not have the last letter of the alphabet" in its name. I read somewhere that he previously said it wouldn't have a Z in it. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
