Taxi's at the pier Question

We are cruising on the Jewel 4/2/17. When we disembark can we hail a cab to get us the airport for our flight home? Are they readily available? is the cost reasonable? Thanks, John

Taxis are lined up at the port when you get there. The price is pre-determined by where you are going and how much luggage you have. I did the airport to Old San Juan port 2 weeks ago for $23 for me and my roller and my daypack. The Pan American port is in the same taxi district, so the pricing should be similar.

There are plenty of taxis at the Old San Juan docks. easy to get one

Just saw that you on RCCL; I think they disembark/embark from Pan Am, not Old San Juan. In any case, there will be a taxi rank set up at either dock. When I was there at the Sheraton Old San Juan the other week, my room had 2 balconies overlooking the OSJ pier. One of the Carnival ships had docked sometime while I was sleeping. When I was up at around 6:30am, no one was disembarking yet, but there was a very long line of taxis waiting to take people away...
