elite benefits question

Is that a fact?

I learned something new today!

I always throw them in the wastebasket. I won't do that anymore.

I PROMISE that this is the absolute truth. I'm not sure what is meant by "used?"

How do they get credit if coupons aren't used?

I don't know if this is still the case, but the servers/bartenders would get paid $10 for the 2-hour gig up in the sky lounge happy hour. Additionally, many give them tips in appreciation for their fine service.

We sailed Eclipse in April and there were over 2000 Elite, Elite Plus. Vouchers were used in the Sky Lounge, Ensemble and just about every bar. We have seen this on every cruise we have taken over the last 3 years.

Anne Maria, are you doing Canada/New England n 2017? We are booked on the 9/10 cruise. Hope you are.

Yes, it is true that if you give your favorite bartenders the unused vouchers they get credit for them. Just learned this is a fact on this past cruise so, don't throw them away, let them use them.

Hi Pat, didn't know you booked that. We are not booked yet. Hopefully we will get to sail with you. Those cruises have really become popular since they first started doing them over 10 years ago.

2,000, where did you come up with that number? The ship only holds 2,900. We've done 6 cruises, with Celebrity Solstice class ships, where vouchers were used, all transatlantics. The highest number I heard bantered around was a thousand or so.

You cannot removed drinks from the Elite events. You can request water, but remember you cannot take it with you.

That's true, this is not always enforced because I've noticed on the past three cruises many Elites leaving the Sky Lounge with drinks.
