inforem Posted June 26, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 26, 2016 i was on the Summit 2 summers ago and I remember eating at the Normandy Restaurant when we boarded the ship. It was for lunch and we didn't have to go to the buffet? Is it still the same deal?
Rare Jim_Iain Posted June 26, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 26, 2016 My understanding is that Luminae is now open for lunch for suite guests on boarding up until 1:30. Michael's club concierge will direct you to Luminae.
TeaBag Posted June 26, 2016 #3 Share Posted June 26, 2016 No. Luminae is the restaurant for people in suites now. They are open for lunch on embarkation day and every other day except when in port. We were allowed to go to Bistro on 5 for free when Luminae was closed at lunch, but Bistro on 5 is being replaced with Sushi on 5 fleet wide, so I don't know what the new lunch arrangement will be for suite guests, if any. QueenGlassHalfFull Posted June 26, 2016 #5 Share Posted June 26, 2016 As far as I know, there were no special lunch arrangements for suite guests when Luminae was closed for lunch on port days. We were on the Reflection in April and were not invited to Sushi on Five or any other specialty restaurant on port days for lunch. We enjoyed eating in the Cafe - quiet on the back deck and plenty of delicious choices.

You just had to know that they did this and there was no problem with getting the free lunch in Bistro, but this is probably a moot point now, since B on 5 is soon to be no more.
