winddawn Posted July 8, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 8, 2016 I crossed one of my cruising bucket list items off on my cruise last month--the Explorer excursion in Alaska. It was my third Alaska cruise, but my first opportunity to experience the Explorer catamaran excursion. And it was fantastic! So what Carnival itinerary/port/excursion/experience is on your bucket list that you want to do? And what is so special about it that it deserves to be on your bucket list? tree.critter Posted July 8, 2016 #5 Share Posted July 8, 2016 South Pacific is #1 but will probably make Alaska before I get there which is next in desire. Not Carnival but cruising the Amazon River IS on my bucket list.

Computer Nerd Posted July 8, 2016 #14 Share Posted July 8, 2016 (edited) Baltic for me too. Carnival AU sails the south pacific. have several aussie friends who have sailed both carnival and carnival au and they say carnival au is no where near as nice as carnival. :( plus, i would rather sail from the us than take that crappy 15 hour flight to sydney for a cruise. OCruisers Posted July 8, 2016 #15 Share Posted July 8, 2016 balitc sea cruise, hawaii cruise, pacific islands cruise. now if carnival would just go back into those areas. :( Please consider not totally limiting yourself to Carnival cruises. There really are other mass market cruise lines that you would enjoy going to places on your bucket list. :)

There really are other mass market cruise lines that you would enjoy going to places on your bucket list. :) oh, i don't. i have sailed 5 different cruise lines.....ccl, rccl, ncl, hal, princess. i just prefer the way carnival does things and therefore they are my go to cruise line. if there is a place i want to go and carnival doesn't sail there it takes 2 seconds to start looking at someone else. i just wish carnival went to all of the places i want to sail to. joeyancho Posted July 8, 2016 #21 Share Posted July 8, 2016 That should be easy for you to accomplish!:) But I have to ask respectfully, why are you here? It is easy to accomplish. Just book with Princess. A superior experience in every way. You might pay more but to us it is worth it. We don't go on vacation to save money. The reason I am here is to keep up with what is going on with Carnival. I have friends who cruise Carnival. it's not that I dislike Carnival, I just like Princess more. Last year we took my daughter, grandson and stepdaughter on the Miracle. It was a huge disappointment. My daughter remarked, this sure isn't Princess and she was right. If you like Carnival, that is fine. Princess just suits our taste better.
