Booking Repositioning on Summit

Thinking of booking repositioning cruise Summit, April 2017 San Juan to NYC. I know that these types of cruise aren't eligible for incentives but should I wait to book when I'm on the Silhouette this September to get a better deal?

Thanks for your help!

If you book while on board you should be able to get the OBC and discounted deposit that is give for booking a future cruise while onboard. My understanding is that all other perks, unless specifically offered for that cruise, are off limits.

I was on the Repo this past April and loved it. When we booked it (15 months earlier) it was not classified as a repo, it was just a bermuda and caribbean cruise, so I was able to get 1-2-3 on it. Based on what I am reading I would not hold out for that deal, the future cruise booking is probably the best you will get !!

Since it is a repositioning cruise, I don't think you will get anything more when booking on board as far as the OBC goes. We got a mere $100 OBC for a 14 day repositioning cruise booked on board. Don't forget to ask for the one category upgrade if you are choosing a cabin to which it applies i.e. Get A1 pay for A2, Get C2 pay for C3 etc.

Book now. Currently a great deal: resident rate.

When we did the reverse - San Juan to Bayonne, it was not classified as a re positioning so it was eligible for perks. My guess is that it has to do with the number of sea days.

We are booked on 8 night 2017 April repo. No big better best promos since this is a repositioning, but they currently have a great resident rate for some states.
