Jarvijt Posted July 10, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 10, 2016 We are on celebrity reflection in August for our first celebrity cruise. I have bought a number of cotton items that I now realise will need ironing. Does anyone know if there are ironing facilities on board so somewhere I can send them? Thanks
gizvic Posted July 10, 2016 #2 Share Posted July 10, 2016 There should be a bag with a laundry list in your room. If it is the same as it was on my last cruise, there's a column for "pressing only." Your cabin steward should be able to take it for you.
Rare cruisestitch Posted July 10, 2016 #3 Share Posted July 10, 2016 There are no self-service irons and you are not allowed to bring irons and steamers aboard with you. You can send items out for pressing. You can hang them in the shower area and let steam do its work. You can use commercial wrinkle remover spray. There are also packing techniques which minimize wrinkles.

emsachs Posted July 10, 2016 #5 Share Posted July 10, 2016 If you are booked in a suite, will the butler do ironing/pressing for no additional charge?
krb1000 Posted July 10, 2016 #6 Share Posted July 10, 2016 If you are booked in a suite, will the butler do ironing/pressing for no additional charge? No, he will not. He will however, send your clothes out and return them.
Wine-O Posted July 10, 2016 #7 Share Posted July 10, 2016 If you are booked in a suite, will the butler do ironing/pressing for no additional charge? Butlers don't do ironing or windows, but they will gladly take your clothes down to the ship's laundry to be pressed.

cb at sea Posted July 10, 2016 #9 Share Posted July 10, 2016 Iron them before you pack them!
neverbeenhere Posted July 10, 2016 #10 Share Posted July 10, 2016 I know this doesn't make sense, but you could pack something different that doesn't need ironing.
