Laundry bag 7 night, now 8 night.

Noticed on several threads now that the loaded sea pass voucher for Diamonds

has gone to 8 nights now, when it used to be 7 nights to get the discount.

 

I cannot find anywhere if this is the same change for the free laundry bag voucher

for Diamond plus, going from 7 to 8 night cruises? Bummer for B2B 7 night

cruises if that is the case. :(

Aww...there must be somebody that knows the answer to this?

 

I am doing B2B 7 night cruises, and am trying to figure out how much

I need to pack. If D+ still has that free bag of laundry service for

a 7 night cruise, then I can pack less and take advantage of the free

perk. If not and it has gone to 8 night and above, I will pack more,

or just know that I need to pay for the laundry service.

How about Pinnacle getting the free wash and fold bag on 7 nights, also? Hope that has not changed as we are doing b2b2b on LB beginning Aug. 28.

Just back from Jewel's July 24-31 cruise. Diamond perk list states two different perks for was and fold bag

(1202) receive $10 OFF a $30 bag of wash and fold laundry on a 5 or more nights

and

(1203) receice $10 OFF a $30 bag of wash and fold on a 8 or more nights

 

We didnt use it as we missed asking for the bag. It was not automatically delivered to the cabin.

I think we are misinterpreting the change.

 

They changed it to 8 nights so you don't get TWO discounts on a 7 night. you only get one discount.

 

Don't forget, each D(+) in the cabin gets the discount.

Same thing appears on the list I got on our Anthem Cruise in April.

 

The list of Exclusive ONBoard Savings for D+ Members and Pinnacle Club Members from the lists that I got on Anthem in April read..........

 

(1203) Receive $10 OFF a $30 bag of Wash & Fold Laundry on 8 or more Nights.

 

(1205) One Free $30 Wash & FOld Bag on 5 nights of more.

Celebrity Elite members get 90 minutes internet, one bag of laundry, one dry cleaning among other things. Problem is one gets the same number of coupons regardless if you are on a 7 day cruise or a 45 day cruise. Never made sense to me.

Diamond Members never did receive a coupon for Free Laundry. It's always bee $10.00 off.

No, we are not screwed as there were two coupons: one for 5 or more nights and another for 8 or more nights. So you can utilize the first coupon on a 7 nights cruise. (See my previous post where I copied the text from Diamond perk list)

At least, that was the case on Jewel last week.
