Conflicting departure dates!

Do a search on the HAL website and look for the Alaska cruise that departs on Aug 13,2016 on the Westerdam.

My cruise docs state we depart on Friday Aug 12, 2016 on the Westerdam.

 

Which do we believe?:confused:

Anyone else ever ran into this?:confused:

 

Luckily we live close to Seattle and plan to drive.

Never noticed anything like this.

 

The HAL website has the Westerdam departing Seattle August 6, 13, 20, 27 on 7 day cruises. Looks to be correct.

 

Better take a look at all the items on "My Account" and see if they are all one date, then phone your TA.

I guess it's better to be a day early then a day late. I'm sure you'll get it sorted out before the time comes. Have a good cruise.

From whom did you get your documents?

A TA who types everything him/her self?

A computer generated document by the TA?

I've only seen something like that when doing an overnight on embarkation evening and sailing the next day. I'm sure the 13th is correct. Does it say the 12th in more than one place, like in the itinerary on page 3 or so of the edocs?

You should call HAL directly to check,not in an email and get the name of who you spoke to.

I have it on good authority there is a bug that is being fixed. Try changing your computer's timezone to Pacific Time. Then Shift F5 while you are looking at it to reload the program.

Did you book a pre-cruise hotel with HAL? If so, that could be why it shows you departing a day early.

We've had the same thing happen more than once for departures from Sydney - the website has it right, as do our documents but the HAL group set up on a certain social media site has it departing a day later!

 

It may well be something to do with timezone differences between Seattle and Sydney but I don't see why it would....
