GUT2407 Posted August 7, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 7, 2016 Is the DIY laundry free ?If not, how do you pay...room card, coins, or what ? Is soap provided or do you bring your own ? TIA ! Not free, $3 wash $3 dry take your own detergent or get it for $1.50. Pretty sure they are one where you swipe your card and get tokens, there is a machine in each laundry to get the tokens if so, otherwise go to the Purser's desk
Alaska05 Posted August 7, 2016 #3 Share Posted August 7, 2016 It is not free. You purchase tokens from a machine in the laundry room that are used in the washer & dryer. Slide your cruise card in the token machine and it gets charged to your onboard account. When I was on the Coral in June the cost was $3 per token. One token to wash and one to dry (although if you load the dryer too much, the load probably won't be all the way dry at the end of the cycle). Can also purchase tokens for small one use boxes of laundry detergent. I always bring Tide laundry pods and sheets of Bounce
GUT2407 Posted August 7, 2016 #4 Share Posted August 7, 2016 Mrs Gut takes capsules, we both have delicate skin and their detergent over a few weeks gives us an itch.

easyboy Posted August 7, 2016 #6 Share Posted August 7, 2016 You pay for the use and for detergent. Others bring their favorite detergent for delicate fabrics.
