Grandeur next week!!

Wondering what my best bets are with respect to lunch on embarkation day. I know the buffet will be available...anything else (e.g. MDR?)

I could be wrong, but I think this doesn't open until 1pm. A little later than the Windjammer. We ate lunch there the last time on the Grandeur. Will probably do it again next week. We are on the same cruise.

We've done lunch in the Park Cafe the last couple of times we've been on GR and it was open by 12. Otherwise, we wait til the cabins open and go to the Windjammer then when there will be plenty of seats.

I was going to say the same thing. We ate in the Park Café last year on one of our Grandeur cruises and it was open around the same time as the WJ.

And it was not just snacks. They had salads, wraps and the roast beef sandwiches.

Thanks...Good to know. I thought someone told me it didn't open until 1pm. Maybe they wanted to get there first....:p

 

I know where we will be eating next Thursday.

I used to love the roast-beef sandwiches here. Someone said that the had changed the bread.[emoji45] It's been a few years since I was on Vision class and I can't remember if there is a Solarium bar. Can someone remind me.

There is both a Solarium Bar and a Park Cafe in the Solarium.

Thanks all - I'm kind of bummed that there isn't anything nicer. Hate the idea of the Buffett with the crowds, so I guess we'll go for the park cafe. Thanks again!
