Voom, Surf, Stream ???s

So I want to watch College Football. I have the DirecTV app that I can stream games live on my iPhone 6.

 

1. Which Voom pkg is needed to accomplish this? I'm thinking it will include the 'Stream' portion.

 

2. Will my DirecTV app work w/ the package that RCCL offers?

I'd get the Stream package.

 

Hard to say if the app will work as it might see a non-US IP address and have legal limitations. Might be something to check with DirecTV.

Yep, I'll check w/ DTV. I was hoping someone would have tried a live stream of let's say the Olympics or something.

But even if someone told you it worked for them, it might not work for you due to the issue outlined by Bob.

On anthem now with surf and stream. Just brought up Orioles game on live streaming in directv app no issues.

Also just checked my IP address and comes back as Miami

This is interesting info, thanks for this. I'll be curious to know if the downlink location stays the same all the time.

In our experiences the IP addresses have been very consistently FL or TX, probably corporate regional servers with one public face taking all of our Internet traffic.
