They just came on and said that more people were getting off but they did not need more ambulances. I wonder how many they have used already. I would assume more than one by that comment.

We haven't heard anything other than there than there was an Alpha call. I would guess it was family that got off as well. I hate to think someone got off the ship after 1 hour because they didn't like it.[emoji6]

Can you tell us how much bingo costs and if there are packages? Thx

If I am near bingo I will ask for you. It does very buy the amount of cards and if you use the electronic card reader.

FYI - I had you set up on Periscope from previous cruises, but for whatever reason had to reload your address to follow as I wasn't seeing any of your recent scopes. Turns out I had missed 5 or 6 in the last 24 hours.

Just a heads up in case anyone else needs to "re" follow -

Thanks for sharing all the info and taking us along, Andrew!

Just to jump in - the new menus on Allure question gets asked a lot. As of last week they weren't and no one knew.

And in SLS we did not have a suite binder. Menus were in the suite lounge. Or Francesco would get us one if we wanted to see it.

Hmm. I'll give it a shot. The app that you need should just say "Periscope" underneath it and nothing else.

Click on it and hit the little people icon in the bottom right hand corner.

Then hit the magnifying glass in the upper left hand corner. Type in "andrew_1720" where it says "search". His name should pop up as well as his avatar which is some terrible tshirt that says something about cruising (lol, sorry Andrew).

Click his name and hit "follow". You will see he has about 79 recent videos in there already. Let me know if you get that far then we can give you some tips.

Thanks, Yorkvillain! I totally failed at my previous attempts to get on Periscope, but I'm on now and have been watching Andrew's scopes!

Andrew, Lisa, & Owen, hope you have a great cruise! :D

Catching up on your periscopes yesterday. Grandpa turned 100 yesterday so we had a bunch of festivities. We tuned in just in time to watch you guys get some flowrider in! So far it looks like excellent fun guys, keep it up, so entertaining--Happy Day 2 to you all!

Today is a C day. I'm definitely not getting of the ship at all. The sun is just starting to poke up off on the horizon and the seas are calm. Considering a few days ago I thought we would have had the end effects of L99, it is very nice.

If you watched the periscopes last night you would have seen that Owen and I did a private rental of the flowrider for the hour. He is getting so much better with only two cruises of doing it. When he gets tall enough I totally see him in line with me all day for standup, while Lisa enjoys the beach pool.

Once we finished riding it was time to retire to the cabin. It didn't take long to no to fall asleep last night. Here is a quick photo of the seas this morning. If you look in the distance you can see Bahamas.

At the end of muster something funny happened. When the Captain gave his "personalized" welcome they popped in the wrong tape that said " tomorrow we will be in Nassau and then continue on to St Thomas". You should have heard the people our muster station (MDR) gasped and groaned as our first stop is St Martin. By the time we got to the elevator bank the Captain came back on the PA and apologized that some hit play on the wrong eastern sailing recording. The cruisers around me looked much happier.

I on the other hand was gasping and groaning after walking the stairs from deck 5 to deck 16. We stayed on the starboard side, with drink in hand, to wave at Billie who does sail away periscopes from Port Everglades. We saw him and waved like crazy and watched his scope when we returned to our cabin.

Say congrats to grandpa. My grandmother passed at 96 and she was the best. I miss her.

As I said we are here to entertain. [emoji106]

I wrap them in a large bubble wrap, and use split styrofoam pipe wrap to protect the edges. If I remember I will post pics at the end of the cruise when I am packing them up. There was also a snorkel, mask and flippers in the the bag in the picture. Sometimes I also throw extra flip flops in too.

As for the flying we typically fly Delta, but have used Air Canada as well. We just say I have two bags when I do online checkin and they have never questioned us when we arrive at the airport. I don't call it oversized as they might want to upcharge you. The bag is also a padded bad. I also check it with the normal luggage. I have met one person who takes it as carryon, but I guess I would rather not drag it.

They have flown that way from Detroit to Fort Lauderdale at least 12 times round trip and from Toronto to Italy and back. Knock on wood so far no problems.

I hadn't thought of the split styrofoam pipe wrap. Thanks for your all of your insight.

This will be Owen's first cruise in the age 9 group so I will share his impressions. I will post kids compasses when we return. I hope it helps.

Thanks Bob, I too am looking forward to the fun week.

My daughter is onboard with you! SIL and the three grandchildren!....K.O.:)

I use the 2 inch and wrap the sides in long pieces, and use little pieces from the ends. Just a bit more protection.

I might have seen them this morning. Owen and I hung out at the kids poolfor a few hours. The weather will be great for them, as it is for us. It is a little overcast but definitely the type of weather that you could get a sunburn. If the sun came out it would sure get hot.

I hope they're having an amazing time.

This will be our home starting Sunday.

This will be our itinerary, unless Mother Nature has her way with us and changes our plans.

Now if you could just oust these folks out of our cabin before we arrive it will be all good. :D

CHANGE is good! Albeit, change in plans maybe not so good. How about adding one more to your crew. This neighbour, SW Ontario, Canadian senior lady could use a change. Wishing you smooth sailing even with change. :) OMgoodness, my ship has sailed! I must have had a few senior moments in date of sail... sigh.

I feel like I've been a little delinquent with you guys. So it's time for some pictures from last night. Food Porn Time.

We had dinner at Sabor, it was delicious. We might've ordered a bit too much but we definitely ate as much as we could. Crazy stat we had 1300 viewers of the Guacamole scope. I can't believe that.

Chicken, bacon Quesadillas for Owen. We didn't tell him that it had scallions. I thought it was the better move.

Short Rib Mole for me.

Lisa had the short robe beef tacos.

There was a little bit of rain at supper, and as they say in Hawaii rain brings rainbows. I think this ship is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow for Royal Caribbean.

Lisa had asked if it was possible to have a couple cans of ginger ale, and when we return to the cabin last night this is what awaited her. Thank-you Francesco.

Here's a video of Owen boogie boarding. Hopefully it will work. It's hard to believe he's only done it on two other cruises. He even gets the drop knee at the end of the run. He had a good wipe out at the end, but there was no video of it. . That's my boy. [emoji3]
