Just to clarify on this, I thought the RS perk was that they received two complimentary services of laundry not unlimited? Are you receiving this benefit some other way as in if you are Zenith member? I would hate to see a large bill at the end of the cruise if you were accumulating and sending out your entire families laundry every day.

We were in the PH (May 2016) and although it was said we could have 2 free laundries, it was made quite clear to us - we could have as many laundries as we desired.

Not listed on the X-web site, but it was offered to us while on board.

We are not zenith:eek: and will only be elite after this cruise (our third):D. He was being serious though it may not be the same on all ships

received an invited to a second sail away on the helipad today out of Kotor (were on the helipad out of Venice) and an invite to the bridge on the sea day. We are definitely feeling the suite effect. The nice thing is they are including our 17 year old dd in all the invites:)

Thanks for the video. We are in this cabin next January. We sailed in the updated RS on the Infinity but I'm sure we will be just as comfortable in this one. We will also be travelling with our 17 year old daughter and have found the space to be great. I'm pleased to see that the balcony is completely covered as the Infinity's isn't. We did find that it didn't feel private. I'm looking forward to using the hot tub again. We tried it during the Panama canal transit which was fun.

Just eaten lunch at Sushi on 5.

Food was good and very interesting though the a la Cart / by person concept for an Asian restaurant is confusing.

A la cart as most people on the ship are used to a cover charge with an up charge for premium items - so why charge differently in this restaurant?

By person - at home we are used to ordering a selection of dishes and every one on a table sampling of some or all. I suspect it is just not what I'm used to as I have only ever eaten in Japanese restaurants in Europe not an American Sushi bar.

I can confirm it's free for Upper suites. Menus below as pdfs

Don't want to disturb your wonderful cruise but if you have time I would love to see a video of your MIL's room 6146. I have a keen interest in the balcony door and furniture. I am really enjoying following along with your blog and your pictures.

Happy Silver Anniversary

I have started to believe that a women was going to sit on the Iron Throne and now I have proof.

Nice job on the hike to St. Johns Castle!

Which Asian cruise are you on? We've booked an RS for Abu Dhabi to Singapore in Jan, 2018 so I'd love to get some feedback after your trip. Safe travels. bb

Hi thought you were on our cruise so had to edit my reply. We are doing the exact same cruise but 2017. Will give feedback on the cruise & RS.

As a point of note there is a glass jar with cotton wool balls and cotton buds in the bathroom along with the large bulgari shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. There is also a lip balm and shower cap:) but no sowing kit.:(

We have also been invited to another sail away on the helipad this time out of Malta. That makes three champagne sailaways on the helipad and bridge tour so I am pretty chuffed.

cannongate - I will try over the next day or two but with the slow internet it may have to wait until our return to post.:(

I look forward to hearing about your/our cruise!

We'll be in the Caribbean mid-January for 7 days on the HAL Eurodam, then we'll fly over to San Juan, Puerto Rico for 7 days at a Renaissance resort casino. I call it a surf-n-turf vacation. Then we come home to deal with a major remodel. I'm hoping to keep the island Zen through that ordeal.

How awesome! Kotor is such an amazing sail-away experience (as well as Venice).

How sweet of Megan! thank you for passing her message along. We look forward to seeing her again in October. It seems there has been a huge staff changeover since May, so it will be lovely to see one familiar face and she is such a lovely person.

Thank you,

Heather
