Calling all Princess Regulars

My wife and I have cruised with Princess before but always 7 day cruises or longer. We're booked on a 6 day Western Caribbean cruise. On shorter cruises does Princess offer the, "All you can pack into the laundry bag"?

Maybe Princess has offered this bag of laundry service on some voyages, but I have not seen this on any Princess cruise I have been on. You can wash your own at the self serve laundry. Believe it is $3 wash, $3 dry plus you will have to purchase or bring soap & dryer sheets. A bag of simple laundry, underwear, T's, stuff like that would cost about $30 next day service.

My last 3 Princess cruises have been 7, 11, and 9 nights. I haven't seen this deal on any of them.

 

On the other hand, they do have self service laundries for $3 to wash, $3 to dry, and we bring our own products.

Princess used to offer this on all cruises but I haven't seen it offered in several years. My guess is that with so many Elite now, it's been discontinued. It can take days for Elite laundry to be returned.

On our 10 day I used the laundry facilities. You meet the nicest people in the laundry room!! :)

I can easily pack everything I need for a 6 day cruise into one checked bagg with no need to do any laundry.

They offered it on both our Hawaii cruise and Panama Canal cruise this year (maybe because they were longer, 15 day cruises). One bag, $20.00. Advertised in the Patter.

I think this program was discontinued when parents tried stuffing their kids in the bags when the kids refused to bathe.

I've had the same experience on recent long cruises however the number of elite level passengers who get free laundry & how many passengers are paying for laundry service may be factors considered when deciding whether to have the bag of laundry offer. If the laundry isn't too busy they might offer it to generate some additional income.

I seem to remember it being offered in another line on day before disembarkation. But not on Princess.
