forevertravel Posted September 12, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 12, 2016 We are booked on the Regal Princess in December. We have a drink package but I believe it does not include bottles of water for fridge in cabin. Are we allowed to bring bottles of water when we board? Thank you. Astro Flyer Posted September 12, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 12, 2016 You can bring as many bottles of water as you want during embarkation or from ports. If you don't want to carry on water they offer a water package that needs to be pre-purchased: Stay hydrated and refreshed throughout your cruise with 12 (500 ml) bottles of water conveniently delivered to your stateroom. Price includes service charge. For pre-cruise purchase ONLY through Gift Guide or Cruise Personalizer Item #0526 $6.90 for 12 (500 ml) bottles

Forevertravel:) Which drink package do you have? Only the all-inclusive one includes bottled water. The soda and more does not.

Forevertravel:) None of the drink packages include the bottles of water in the mini-fridge or on the table top upon arrival. Those have an additional charge and it's listed on the card next to the bottle of water.. If you have the all-inclusive drink package, it does cover bottles of water from bard and dining venues onboard, and you can get as many as you like along the way (one at a time) and stash them in your fridge to have on hand. We get a bottle each when we return to the cabin to stock up for in the the cabin or to take on excursions. Very simple. The soda package and the soda & more package do not include bottles of water, in which case you can buy them onboard, bring on your own bottled water, buy the water package in advance or drink ship's water, which is perfectly fine/safe to drink - and included in your fare... forevertravel Posted September 13, 2016 Author #7 Share Posted September 13, 2016 Thank you for the responses. We have the all inclusive beverage package but as someone said it does not include water in the fridge in cabin. The $6.90 for 12 bottles of water is a good price so we'll probably buy that and bring a few bottles on embarcation day. We drink a lot of water. I would highly suggest, instead of spending the extra money, you simply take advantage of the bottled water included in the package you already have. Simply get a bottle of water each at every bar tou pass on the way to the cabin, every time you go to the cabin and stock up that way. It's easy, you usually have the choice of 500ml or 1 liter bottles, you can manage to stock a lot in your cabin pretty quickly. Also, you can get a bottle of water any time you want whole out and about the ship at any bar or dining establishment....why spend the extra money and storage space in the cabin, when you already have it included? Sure, it's not expensive but that $7 bucks could buy a snack out in port or small souvenir, or a few pulls in the casino or make a nice couple tips to various bartenders along the way.. ppmanusa Posted September 14, 2016 #10 Share Posted September 14, 2016 (edited) Always took a litter or two down to the cabin each time stopping in. You spent allot of money for the package take advantage. We're not a fan of the tap water and go thru 4-5 liters/day just in the cabin.
