CAS Drink Cards

I realize that the normal drink card for CAS only covers Complimentary House Drinks While Playing in the Casino. But was wondering what happens if you wanted something fancier. Do you get any type of discount off of that drink due to your drink card? Or do you pay full price?

There's 3 different CAS drink cards (House, Premium & Ultra.) If you have the House card, you do get a credit if calling brands - someone will know the exact price (it's been a while since I had the House card) but I think the most I paid for a drink with a House card was $5.00.

Premium cards (for Gold level players) and Ultra cards (for VIP level) pretty much cover anything you can drink on the ship.

You pay the difference in price between House drink price and a more expensive drink order.

We have been on two cruises since prohibition. Casino bartenders leaned to serve me a bottle of water with each drink. :D

Much better idea than using rum runners for water! ;)

We always love the casino bartenders and they take good care of us too:cool:

And this brings up another question. I was always under the impression that you need to be actively playing to order a drink...and always waited for waitresses to get one. Can you actually go to the casino bar and maybe even sit there for awhile and get drinks?

We do play most nights, but have never had a problem walking up to the casino bar and getting a drink directly from the bartenders. As mentioned above, our last stop of the night is usually to get a bottled water from them....sometimes along with a nightcap to take to our room;)

Yes you most definitely can go to the bar and get a drink. You can sit there too. Depending on the ship almost every stool has a video poker machine in front of it so good luck not playing something. :)

nice!

didnt know you could do that.

in the past i tried ordering 2 alcoholic drinks at a time and they said they could only do 1 because their supervisor sees the orders in the computer system. come back 15min later.

yes.

i've always went up to the bar (gem/breakaway). it's faster than the waitresses.

and you dont even need to sit.

i've walked up to the bar, ordered a drink, then walked towards the main dining room. :D
