ellzeena Posted September 28, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 28, 2016 I sailed to the eastern Caribbean on the Royal Princess March, 2014. There were two smoking areas: Churchill Lounge (truly AWFUL) and a deck above the Horizon eating area. Can anyone tell me if that deck is still available? I am a light smoker but I like a cigarette with a glass of wine at the end of the day and I do NOT want to sit in that awful Churchill Lounge. Is that DECK still there? Pstcrik Posted September 28, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 28, 2016 I cant resist. I am not sure about smoking up there but I assure you the Deck is still there.

Although the OP might not see the humor, I literally "laughed out loud", maybe I'm easy  but good one.

reedprincess Posted September 28, 2016 #5 Share Posted September 28, 2016 Yes, that deck is still there. And yes, it's still a smoking section. FWIW, there's also a smoking se ton aft on Promenade deck. And in part of the casino, so there is more than 2 smoking options...

Yes, all the way aft on the starboard side outside of the Vista Lounge, where the cigarette disposal unit is attached to the bulkhead.
jennybenny Posted September 29, 2016 #7 Share Posted September 29, 2016 Isn't the area above the Horizon where the kid section is and the seawalk? Seems like a terrible place for smoking near children? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
floridalover5623 Posted September 29, 2016 #8 Share Posted September 29, 2016 The Royal is probably the first ship that has the least problems with smoking areas. Other than the casino it's pretty much smoke free unless you go looking for it.
