Galleon1234 Posted September 30, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 30, 2016 We are planning to go to Chankanaab Park and swim with the Manatees. Is there a way to buy tickets ahead of time? Where and how much? How much is the taxi fare from the pier where Liberty of the Seas comes in? Thanks for any info!
JohninDC Posted September 30, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 30, 2016 If you search on line you can find coupons that will save you a couple of bucks off of admission. Check Tours Plaza and other sites if you want to pay in advance, otherwise just bring about $20 cash per person for admission. Taxi fare each way will be posted on a board near the taxi line - should be about $11 each way for up to 4 passengers sharing the same cab. Galleon1234 Posted October 1, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted October 1, 2016 Thank you for the information! Does anyone know What time the park opens and how long the cab ride is? Any suggestions on best place to pick up the cab ride? Thanks!
Rare crewsweeper Posted October 1, 2016 #6 Share Posted October 1, 2016 From International pier where LoS usually docks, probably 10-15 minutes taxi ride. Best place for all is at the head of the pier/just outside the port area gate. Taxis are lined up. Lots of information on Chank via their website. http://www.cozumelparks.com/eng/chankanaab.cfm Note they do not do on line reservations.

mpdog42 Posted October 4, 2016 #8 Share Posted October 4, 2016 I saw where a above poster stated Ship to the Park is around $11, does that still count for where the Breeze will port? Thanks michael
JohninDC Posted October 4, 2016 #9 Share Posted October 4, 2016 I saw where a above poster stated Ship to the Park is around $11, does that still count for where the Breeze will port? Thanks michael Prices may have gone up by a $1 or so since the last time I checked - there will be a sign near the cab line with fares to all of the popular tourist spots. Base fare covers up to 4 passengers sharing the same taxi; rates for 5+ will be posted if you have a larger group. It never hurts to verify the fare with the driver before you get into the taxi; cabs are fairly well regulated on Coz - unlike Philadelphia!

Thanks michael Yes. As John says prices may have changed slightly, when in US $ but that's due to the exchange rate. The Breeze docks at Puerta Maya. The website shows the taxi rates in pesos. http://www.puertamaya.com/port-information/taxi-rates.aspx
