Autotip for non-Australians

Can someone tell me if there is the auto tip (hotel service charge) in place for non-Australian passengers? I know we don't have a separate charge on our shipboard accounts, as it's supposed to be included in the price.

(This has to do with the Emerald's round trip ex. Sydney to NZ over Christmas-New Year).

I guess it will depend upon how the cruise fee is charged. Tips are included in the Australian fares but are not separated out as in the American market but one pays an all inclusive fare. Same fare just structured differently to accommodate local culture

I believe if they book outside Australia, then yes.

Unless you see them at guest services once aboard, everyone will be paying for it one way or the other.
