Rare crewsweeper Posted October 12, 2016 #6 Share Posted October 12, 2016 We arranged this request at booking through our PVP. But you can email to the maître-d' Each ship has a 2 digit/alphanumeric code. You need to find your ship's code. But I don't have a source for that. Maybe someone else here has a listing. Then you email to ship code maitred (all as one word)@ carnival.com For the Sunshine it's shmaitred@carnival.com Same for Steakhouse: ship code steakhouse (all one word)@carnival.com For the sunshine that would be shsteakhouse@carnival.com

Someone who knows how to properly spell maître d'!!! Hint: No need for the hyphen though. My girlfriend is a French linguist/teacher. I have my list of French accents marks too! Alt 0238 gets you the î.

AussieOmni Posted October 12, 2016 #11 Share Posted October 12, 2016 One week before....that is when the organization starts. Was taking about something and Carnival messaged me to email them one week before. So can verify this from an official source. Drazil65 Posted October 12, 2016 #13 Share Posted October 12, 2016 We usually email about 2-3 weeks out for a table for 3. When we board we go to the dinning room about 1:30 and find our table. It works!
bakersdozen12 Posted October 12, 2016 #14 Share Posted October 12, 2016 John Heald has stated on his social media page that people should not email the maitre d, as replying to email requests is not in their job description. If you want a table for two, go see him/her on the first day. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
WendyCn Posted October 13, 2016 #15 Share Posted October 13, 2016 If you booked through a Carnival PVP they can add the request to your cruise.
