Ship time

Starting to get excited about our cruise on "Ovation of the Seas" on 28th January, 2017. We leave from Sydney, which is on daylight savings time, headed for Noumea. Sounds silly, but does the time change off Qld? Does anyone know how many time changes we will have on the way to NZ? Just curious as we have booked traditional late dining thinking of daylight saving but it will be very late if on Qld time.

Nope. No time change for south pacific island cruises. Ship will stay on Sydney Time.

No time change between Sydney and Noumea & Mystery Island.

 

Two time changes forward between Mystery Island and NZ, probably one hour on each of the At Sea days.

 

Two time changes backwards between NZ and Sydney, also probably one hour on each of the At Sea days.

They'll let you know about changes to time any night there is a change.

Great to hear we are heading off in a few weeks and I was wondering about this. I have a Fitbit watch and it doesn't like time changes if I'm not syncing it with my phone.
