Sauer-kraut Posted November 17, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 17, 2016 They are complete opposites. The Pearl will have more specialty dining rooms.

Cruzaholic41 Posted November 27, 2016 #6 Share Posted November 27, 2016 I don't really associate romance with either of those ships, but if there is no other choice, I'd pick Pearl due to more specialty dining options.
Quilting_Cruiser Posted November 27, 2016 #7 Share Posted November 27, 2016 I agree with what others have said...NCL has more specialty dining venues that lend themselves to romantic dining.
notentirelynormal Posted November 27, 2016 #8 Share Posted November 27, 2016 (edited) For me, I don't think it makes a difference. Romance is what you create. You can be sitting in the middle of an empty room with just moving boxes everywhere, sipping wine out of a paper cup and a piece of pizza right out of the box and find that incredibly sexy and romantic. Or, you can be in a high class expensive restaurant with the hottiest, tottiest servers ever. Dinner is prepared to perfection, the ambiance is perfect. YOU are what makes it the most romantic. Some of the most beautiful moments I have had with my DH were pitiful excuses for romance. Almost. Romance is in you, not the ship. I know my answer doesn't really answer your question but my most romantic moments in my year is when I wake up in the morning and there is a bottle of wine next to a vase of roses and a card for my birthday or Mother's Day or our anniversary. He has never forgotten, not one single time. Now that is romance. Oh, and we have been married for over 40 years. My DS wanted to propose to his girlfriend. He had it planned out perfectly. After dinner, walking on deck, the sun going down - just that moment. He walks into dinner and she is all aglow. Yup, the moment hit and he said to himself, "what the heck am I waiting for? She is the one I want so ask now!". They just celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary. You are the romance, not the ship.
