OCruisers Posted November 20, 2016 #3 Share Posted November 20, 2016 Crooner's is also our favorite! :) For a very nice laidback place give Adagio Bar a try. Vines has a good selection of wines and has sushi & tapas at no charge with the purchase of any beverage.
shredie Posted November 20, 2016 #4 Share Posted November 20, 2016 It depends on what you like. If you want to relax after dinner, then go to Adagio. If you want to dance, go to Club Fusion. Crooners is always a great place, but it's also pretty crowded.

shredie Posted November 20, 2016 #7 Share Posted November 20, 2016 Crooners Lounge before dinner. Wheelhouse Bar after. Well, since the advent of Salty Dog, I don't think the place is all that inviting anymore, but that's just me.

rdsqrl Posted November 21, 2016 #9 Share Posted November 21, 2016 For before dinner, I like Adagio because I love the Citrus Bellini that, to the best of my knowledge, you can only get at that one bar. It's a perfect aperitif. Of course, I also adore the Chairman of the Board martini at Crooner's, so it's a real conundrum. Sadly, my next cruise is on a ship without Adagio, but at least I won't be paralyzed by indecision about what and where to drink.

Lucky TGO Posted November 21, 2016 #13 Share Posted November 21, 2016 (edited) I wanted to know the answer to that question myself. So I tried all the bars and had a different drink at each one. The problem I'm having is how did I get back to my cabin   I don't remember witch bar or drink was the best so I think I'll try it again. shredie Posted November 21, 2016 #15 Share Posted November 21, 2016 What is in chairman of the board martini?.. Chairman of the Board is lethal. ;) DH always orders them at PES lounge, even when it's not the cocktail of the day. His limit is two. If he goes for a third, I hit him over the head with a handy piece of furniture. :D
OCruisers Posted November 21, 2016 #16 Share Posted November 21, 2016 If you'd like to have a smoke with your drink, the Speakeasy Cigar Lounge is the only inside lounge where smoking is allowed. Just mentioning this because smokers do tend to like to smoke after a meal. Speakeasy is serviced by the Casino Bar so it's not the best of places for specialty drinks. LuLu

peety3 Posted November 21, 2016 #21 Share Posted November 21, 2016 We really enjoy Adagio. It's quiet, though entertainment usually starts up around 9:30PM. Unless occupied, it's usually open to the public but "closed for business" before 5:00PM, but that just makes it a great place to sit and watch the ocean go by. Easy access to an aft viewing platform, which is great for sunset photos (hint: use the flash if the sun is behind you!).
OCruisers Posted November 21, 2016 #22 Share Posted November 21, 2016 If you are platinum/elite/suite, going to their pre-dinner cocktail time at Skywalker's can be an enjoyable thing to do some evenings. Lovely views from there. :) LuLu
