Labadee zipline

Crazy question for a friend. We've been to Labadee several times but never done the zipline.... she was wanting to know is there anyone there from the ship taking pictures? Or can you mount a gopro camera to the helmets you wear? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated!

We were there last week and I was surprised that there wasn't a ship photographer taking pictures along the way. We did take a picture with a photographer right after we landed but we were never able to find it in the photo gallery.

We had ship photos taken when we did it. They didn't turn out all that well, so we didn't buy any.

 

You can take a Go Pro. I had one and I saw many others.

A bunch of us did the zipline years ago, and the ships photographers did take pictures as we were "landing"... I bought a couple... they weren't bad. Guess it's hit or miss.

First time we did ziplone ship photographer took pictures. We bought and it came in a nice photo jacket with all the details of the zip line.

It was awesome!!!

Something like 55 seconds, and close to $100.

It's thrilling and worth every penny. IMHO.

 

There were photographers to catch you near the end but I could never find my pic.

 

You can also hold your phone or camera in your hand as you go down. No need for a go pro.

Haha, just another fan of the zipline sending it high praises!

And for what its worth, there were no photographers to be seen when I did it, although I was also in the first group of the day with the 8am (or whatever) flight of the day. ha

We did both. My son wore a go pro and they also had a great picture of him close to the end. I agree with the PP that the cost is totally worth it.

Thanks for posting this one. I saw it a while back and it's my favourite video of the zip line. I was actually thinking about it the other day and wished I had saved a link to it. Love the music they set it to as well.
