NCL in Nassau - Ship time vs Island time

I'm looking at booking a tour in Nassau and they sent me the following note:

Please note, there will be a 1 hour difference between the time on the ship and the time on the island if the time on the ship is not Eastern Standard Time. We will go by island time.

 

The NCL docs indicate that we're there 12:00pm - 7:00pm... but it doesn't say if that's local time or ship time.

Anyone been recently that can chime in?

We're on the Escape if that makes a difference.

oh, i know.

i just need to let the tour company know what time we want to start and THEY opperate in local time...

so i need to know if the hours NCL has given me is ship time or local time or if its one in the same.

i remember porting in Grand Cayman and the ship time was different than the island time, but i couldn't remember if the hours they gave for being in port were in local or not.

Nassau is EST anyway so if it's a cruise from Florida it's likely to be the same anyway

Except for New Orleans, all the Eastern coast ports (inclusive of Florida) are on EST to begin with. So, if Nassau is on EST, there will be no issues with ship time vs local time.

The ship will be on local time, and for your December cruise the arrival time is local time.

 

In other words you will arrive in Nassau at noon, Nassau time.
