G'day my daughter and I will be in Legends of the seas to new Zealand and back on Australia Day 2017 do they do any celebrations?

I believe so, never been RCCL yet, but sis and her hubby have, and they had BBQ (we'll sort of) Lamingtons pav, etc

I think the post is meant to read as.

New Zealand and back.On aus day 2017 do they.:)

So I am presuming that the cruise will still be at sea Aus day.

If that is the case, I am sure they will have some sort of celebration on board with some Aussie tucker thrown in.

That's great to hear they do something we always celebrate Australia Day back home it's actually also my 14 year anniversary that same day! But it will just be myself and our 18yr old daughter traveling on this cruise

(Actually my birthday is on the 19th the day we arrive in NZ so will be some fun times!)

Which bought a thought to mind. PIES. On the Golden, oh about the 22nd day the pies and chips and sauce were being murdered by the Aussies and Kiwis.:)

Arrgghh just give me a Pie And Chips and don't forget the sauce.:)

Even the yanks and canucks were getting into it.

There will be pies, and perhaps even some other Aussie delicacies. of course they are all done with an international variation on the Aussie theme. I personally dislike the Pavlova served on ships which tends to be a meringue ring with a lump of fruit on top of cream.

We were on the Radiance this year on Australia Day. They had a big afternoon poolside party, a BBQ I think, best dressed Aussie costume and other ocker stuff like a belly flop competition. Aussie songs were being played by the band near the pool.
