Hurricane Season 2016 is over and seems there wwas minimal disruption to cruise ships

Something to be thankful for! Do you suppose this might be because cruise lines aren't placing as many ships in the Caribbean during this time period?

 

Have to agree with this thought. Ships are staying in Europe longer- particularly HAL ships, and even lingering in Alaska longer than ever. I know for Fall 2017, we are bringing the Eurodam back from Alaska. She finishes in Alaska on Sept 30, but than does a 16 day trip to Hawaii, before starting the Canal trip back to Ft Lauderdale, arriving Nov 5.
