Asking the important questions: YOUR side of the bed

Same side at home and away - DH on the left hand side of the bed and me on the right (unless we are somewhere, where one side of the bed is against the wall, then he gets the side next to the wall only because I always get up first and I don't want to crawl over him!) I must admit I prefer being closer to the window and balcony so for our next cruise I booked a cabin where the bed position fulfilled this desire!

Closet and drawer space doesn't really matter, though I prefer the top drawers and DH is OK with this. Hanging space - doesn't matter at all.

DH has the sink on the right and on the balcony has the chair closest to the door. But of course none of this is set in concrete and we have been known to change everything depending on where we are and the type of accommodation we are in.

On the ship he gets the side closest to the door cause he likes to stay in the casino late and I've already gone to bed so when he comes in he doesn't disturb me. At home we have separate bathrooms so it's hard to adjust to one on the ship.

Gotta be the same as at home, and if at all possible I try to figure out bed position so I will be on the side closer to the washroom - midnight sorties to the loo and all that .... Even when traveling solo.

Like most aspects of life I'm more of a to the left guy than a to the right guy when it comes to which side to sleep on!
