Randyk47 Posted December 10, 2016 #51 Share Posted December 10, 2016 Always the same side home, cruise, hotel, or tent.....well not a tent. Mrs K is not a camper, not even in an RV. Roughing it for her is a hotel without poolside service.:o
OCruisers Posted December 10, 2016 #52 Share Posted December 10, 2016 Right handed- right side. Left handed - left side. Same at home. Same with sinks. Same with us! He's left handed and I'm right handed so there's never a question about which side of the bed. :D
freanesi Posted December 10, 2016 #53 Share Posted December 10, 2016 Same side at home and away - DH on the left hand side of the bed and me on the right (unless we are somewhere, where one side of the bed is against the wall, then he gets the side next to the wall only because I always get up first and I don't want to crawl over him!) I must admit I prefer being closer to the window and balcony so for our next cruise I booked a cabin where the bed position fulfilled this desire! Closet and drawer space doesn't really matter, though I prefer the top drawers and DH is OK with this. Hanging space - doesn't matter at all. DH has the sink on the right and on the balcony has the chair closest to the door. But of course none of this is set in concrete and we have been known to change everything depending on where we are and the type of accommodation we are in. sandij Posted December 10, 2016 #54 Share Posted December 10, 2016 On the ship he gets the side closest to the door cause he likes to stay in the casino late and I've already gone to bed so when he comes in he doesn't disturb me. At home we have separate bathrooms so it's hard to adjust to one on the ship.
AtlantaCruiser72 Posted December 11, 2016 #55 Share Posted December 11, 2016 Gotta be the same as at home, and if at all possible I try to figure out bed position so I will be on the side closer to the washroom - midnight sorties to the loo and all that .... Even when traveling solo. Like most aspects of life I'm more of a to the left guy than a to the right guy when it comes to which side to sleep on!
