99taylorpn Posted January 8, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 8, 2017 Hi, We are traveling on the Getaway at Easter. Yahoo! I've been looking at the menus on http://www.beyondships2.com/norwegian-getaway-menus.html From looking at the menus it seems like each day at sea there is a new menu, but the same menu at all three MDRs. Is this right? Also, what is the difference between the three MDRs? Thanks again for all your help!!

The other section of the menu has specials of the night. And the third has paid upgrade items. Taste and Savor are identical and just across the main hall from each other. The Tropicana Room is slightly more formal and has live music (and some dancing). The Burn the Floor dancers also do a couple of short dinner shows there too. The menus are similar/same. The difference in the dining rooms is the atmosphere. One has a different dress code than do the others.
casofilia Posted January 8, 2017 #4 Share Posted January 8, 2017 The portion of the menu that changes in the MDRs is on a 14 day rotation but you do not know where on the rotation your cruise will start.
Kate45 Posted January 8, 2017 #5 Share Posted January 8, 2017 It used to be that the menus included 5 courses. Not that healthily but yummy just the same. I noticed on recent posts of menus that they are now just starters (which includes apps, soups and salads), main course and dessert. My question is, can I order an app and a salad from the starter; or a soup and salad. Or even a spring roll app, a bowl of soup and a Caesar salad, a mail course and dessert? Don't judge me, I'm just asking!

Having 2 mains, not by me, is quite common too. There you can eat what you want.
