Kingofcool1947 Posted January 13, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 13, 2017 (edited) Does RCCL offer Zumba? When and how often on 7 day cruise? Thank you. Edited January 13, 2017 by Kingofcool1947
ksuds Posted January 13, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 13, 2017 Yes, they do, but they don't call it Zumba. I believe the instructor has to be certified in order to call it that.
39august Posted January 13, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 13, 2017 On what ship and what do they call it, please? I don't believe I have ever seen this except when Amy Frickert-Southgate was CD on Oasis and on Liberty. She is certified and classes on LB were great. Unfortunately for us, she took a job in Miami last July.
Rare Sarah1974 Posted January 16, 2017 #4 Share Posted January 16, 2017 I was on the Independence in October and Caroline, the Activities Director, ran Zumba Classes (called Zumba) in the nightclub during the day on sea days (I think there were 3 or 4 days). It was advertised in the Compass
eem0924 Posted January 16, 2017 #5 Share Posted January 16, 2017 Zumba (called Zumba) was listed as an activity on the pre-Christmas sailing of the Freedom.

ksuds Posted January 16, 2017 #8 Share Posted January 16, 2017 On the Brilliance it was done in the AM by the pool on sea days. They didn't call it Zumba on any of the sailings I've done on this particular ship. The concept was still the same. Also prior to the class, Hermes (one of the activity staff) did a stretch class. His stretch class was more of a workout than the Zumba class.

didicruiser Posted January 16, 2017 #10 Share Posted January 16, 2017 I just got off the Navigator yesterday and had it poolside on sea days. It was called "dance fit".

Was on Serenade Oct30-Dec23. Was a "Zumba" class, a "Zumba" instructor
