tigstoy Posted January 16, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 16, 2017 I haven't booked a cruise in over a year. We skipped doing our annual February cruise in 2017 due to moving. When I booked before there was a travel page that had blinky dots by the available cabins. I would pick the cabin I wanted and then call Royal Caribbean to ask for that specific room if they did not offer it to me. Has the websites changed in the last couple of years or am I not remembering correctly which one it was?
Clarea Posted January 16, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 16, 2017 Royal's website changes every 20 minutes.;) Seriously, try using Royal's UK website to view available staterooms: http://www.royalcaribbean.co.uk. It shows more available staterooms than the US website, and is easier to use.

Merion_Mom Posted January 16, 2017 #4 Share Posted January 16, 2017 Many many many large travel companies use an interface with those blinking red dots. Try some of the best-known ones, the ones that book everything, not just cruises.
matj2000 Posted January 16, 2017 #5 Share Posted January 16, 2017 Go find some 3rd party cruise travel site. The one I use, shows the blinking dots on available cabins for each deck. However I have found out that there are more available then show, so you need to have them check if you want a certain cabin. I would skip RC site altogether..... Clarea Posted January 16, 2017 #6 Share Posted January 16, 2017 Bob... any reason why one site shows more than others? Different IT folk??? I suspect the IT people figure folks in the UK are smarter than folks in the US and so can handle more information.;)
tigstoy Posted January 19, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted January 19, 2017 Third party site was the one I was looking for. I still haven't found the one I used in the past. I did find the room I wanted and booked our 2018 cruise on Monday night.

hannibal54 Posted January 19, 2017 #9 Share Posted January 19, 2017 (edited) There is one that I use often that shows available cabins but it is another TA site. You can't list them on CC, I have done it in the past & got in trouble for naming it. I wish I could help you. Biker19 Posted January 19, 2017 #10 Share Posted January 19, 2017 It shows more available staterooms than the US website, and is easier to use. While their cabin booking pages have stayed the same, the front end has changed recently and like the US site, I'm not sure it's an improvement.
