Vista Roulette table disappointment

I just came off the Vista loved the ship hated roulette they changed it now they give two dollars chips instead of one. Which if let's say the minimum for the table is 10 and you want to bet 10 dollars they have just cut your chances in half if you like to spread out on different numbers. Is this just on the Vista or fleet wide?

Thanks

Hi Lele

Yes, but if you hit your number you win twice as much. :)

OP, you are not alone. I also was not enthused when the dealer pushed out my half a stack of chips. But if you think about it, nearly all of the table games have evolved over the years to add gimmick rules or other tweaks to bring the odds even further towards the house.

I go into the casino looking to have fun for a while and consider my losses as an entertainment cost. My plan for roulette is to play as long as I can on one buy in. Their new plan is to take my money twice as fast! :)

Oh well, I'll still have fun for a bit before moving over to losing at blackjack or craps.

As my namesake said about a dealer in Vegas: "That's it Clark... show him who's boss. It's people like you who come here and blow the family nest egg that built this town... not this pretty boy!"

I have a certain threshhold for how much i will lose in a night but do get annoyed when they raise the minimum.

OK to lose it when playing for a few hours but when it can be lost in 10 minutes find that rather annoying

Roulette has about (or worse) odds than slots. They're doing you a favor.

Casino has 5.26% advantage on you at double zero roulette.

Most slots have you for about 20%.

Here in Oz most casinos have ramped up their minimum bet to 5 bucks - hence, most potential punters give the game a miss.

New way to separate us from our money faster:eek:

hi there

The good thing is that unless you have a problem, the choice is all yours. You don't have to give them anything. Like most people I enjoy the games, but I don't like losing. If I lose xxx, I stop playing, it doesn't matter if it is the first day or the last. I wouldn't ever consider buying a lottery ticket and look at how much money people are throwing away with those.
