Bringing water onboard the Allure.

Recommended Posts

When boarding Allure of the Seas in January, I saw several people carrying on cases of bottled water. Most were on top of their small carryon sized suitcases and were bungee corded. No one stopped them or even questioned them.

You can bring it (I saw people do it) for convenience to fridge and take on ports but it's sourced tap water, and RCI's tap water is drinkable too, although it might taste slightly different than store bought. It's better to bring an insulated S'well bottle, especially on ports, the cap stays twisted on, and the ice is still ice when you get to the beach!

I don't think the inconvenience of and weight of hauling water on board is worth the effort. Lots of water to drink on board. If you want bottles for excursions - either take an insulated bottle of water from the ship or buy the odd bottle of water on shore (will be cold from the place of purchase). Staff shouldn't have to haul water cases to the rooms in additional to suitcases.
