What was your upgrade offer and what did you bid

Do the educators there call it spring break?!?!? :o

 

My son's family is from NY. He told me that a large number of schools in NY have that same week off. Thst is why we had to choose that week, which was more expensive than normal, to take them on vacation. I am the one who mistakenly called it Spring Break. My bad. Chill out.

That Monday is also President's Day. A lot of people have that day off.

Agree, maybe not in the case of disparate bids, but two identical bids on the same Cabin, one from a Platinum Plus and one not... what do you think is gonna happen? NCL will behave much like any airline and look after it's cash-cows I suspect.

Dude, I’m totally chill. Headn out to Miami for Escape this Sat, price was great when I booked.

No. It's winter break. Spring break is in April, coinciding with Patriot's Day, which is celebrated in Massachusetts and Maine.

Also a lot of colleges on spring break in March. Thanks for clarifying, I guess the dude Olin just confused winter break with spring break.

So I am sailing on the Pearl out of New Orleans March 11th it has said its sold out for suits and Haven. they sent out the upgrade request to me I have bid on them but wonder? If it says sold out does that mean that travel agencies are holding blocks or that perhaps folks might cancel between now and then. I just dont see myself getting an upgrade to the haven I have a balcony mini-suit. Any thoughts on that would be helpful. First time cursing and ive been lurking on the forums here tryin to learn as much as I can between now and then. Thanks

Group space would have already been returned back to the cruise line from travel agencies.

Just received rejection email(s) for our bids.

Ship: Escape

Sail date: 2/17/18

2 bids: B1 to H6 for $800pp (poor range) and also a bid for an H7 for $450pp (poor range).

 

Am very very happy with our B1 so it's still a win in my book! :)

Ibid 220 witch is on good scale for a balcony cabin we are going on the Gem April 28. W have never been in a inside cabin .out of 17 cruises .If we don't get it the cabin is a sideways inside on deck 8 near everything so it will be a great adventure.

April 28th is still a bit out. I would call NCL and see what it would cost to do the upgrade directly and you might even get added perks than what you got with the inside cabin. Might be less or close to same as your bid amount and you'd get to pick cabin vs just get assigned one.

Depending on your CAS level you might even try contacting them to see about better than an inside room directly for no cost. It does happen.
