Embarkation in Rome

I am doing a cruise on Epic that embarks in Barcelona & Rome. So what time do I need to embark in Rome? I've looked for info & cant find anything. I'm thinking of getting to port at noon. Anyone have any info. Thank you

If you want to be at Civitavecchia for a noon embark remember that you will have to leave Rome by about 11am unless you get a mad driver as we did!!

Thank you casofilia we will depart Rome at 10:30. I've been to Italy before. But cruise always left from Barcelona. The drive is always exciting in Italy lol

You asked what time you need to embark. As the ship leaves at 7 or 8 pm, you have plenty of time to get there. Officially, you need to be there 2 hours before sail away.

Any particular car company or just taxi ?

 

We used romelimousineplus.com in 2011, no problems, great (fast) ride in a M-B minibus.

 

Train of course costs peanuts but not particularly baggage friendly so we splurged:)

Yes I'm using Rome in Limo. I always use them. I know the ship leaves at 7. I just thought for guests embarking might be different time. So I can leave Rome & get to ship around 3. Nice. Thanks
