Email problem with Royal Caribbean

I no longer receive any emails from Royal Caribbean. I used to get them all the time but haven't received any since December 1.

The problem started after booking a cruise leaving in May. I was already booked on a January cruise but, after booking the May cruise, emails started coming to me addressed to my cabin mate and showing her C&A number and other info. I emailed RCL to ask why they were sending me her emails instead of mine and got no response. I called their customer relations and the C&A number but couldn't get an answer. Instead, they stopped sending me any emails at all.

I've checked my spam folder and have verified that RCL is not on my blocked list. RCL does not respond to emails regarding this problem. Their customer relations representative has provided no help at all. I have not been able to get this resolved even with the assistance of our travel agent. I've repeatedly entered my email address which seems to disappear frequently, I checked the box for receiving promotions, and I've tried using another email address. Nothing has helped.

Any suggestions as to what to do next???

Have you tried this form?

https://secure.royalcaribbean.com/dealsandmore/signup/email.do?cS=NAVBAR&pnav=2&snav=2

It's possible they put you on the "do not email" list which means you won't receive anything but communications about a reservation.

You could use another email address and forward emails to your primary email address.

I've filled that form out at least 10 times with no results. I've used two separate emails but they don't send email to either one. Maybe I should try gmail.

It's very frustrating not to receive emails concerning upcoming cruises I've booked or info about upcoming sales. I found out in a roll call that RCI had a sale in process that I knew nothing about. I checked it out on their website and our cruise agent was able to get us a reduced price.

I've never known a cruise line that tried so hard to alienate its customers. They seem to have put me on their blocked customers list because I complained about getting emails that weren't addressed to me.

Yesterday I received an email from Royal Caribbean that went to my Verizon email address, the one I most recently changed it to on my profile and cruise check in.

Today I received another that went to my Verizon email but I also received the same email in my Outlook email. The Outlook one was addressed to my cruise room mate and had her C&A number and points. The ones sent to my Verizon email had my name, C&A number, and points.

I'm finally getting emails from them but don't know why they can't get the info sent to my Outlook account fixed. Meanwhile, my cruise room mate hasn't been getting emails from them so I'm forwarding mine to her.

My mom has the opposite problem. Absolutely can't get an invoice delivered to her. Any changes, etc and she wants a new invoice, she has to send it to me or my aunt. We've checked her spam, it's not blocked or there. Makes no sense.

Reopening this thread in hopes that someone found a fix. I have not been receiving any emails from RCI regarding itinerary changes and neither has my travel agent. I have repeated tried to get this fixed working with the IT dept including using several different emails on different device to no avail. It's upsetting to know that there may be a substantial changes effecting itinerary and excursions etc that I'm not receiving.

You can't fix something for which the issue is at the RCI end.

Just hoping that someone had the IT dept actually identify the problem and resolved it. From the sounds of your message, this is highly unlikely :(

I gave up trying to get it fixed. Called the main line and the Crown and Anchor line several times. Been months since I got anything from them. If nothing has changed before my December cruise they don't get any more bookings.

I have no idea why they can't figure out why so many people stopped receiving e-mails. I've been told several times that they will generate a IT ticket to get the problem resolved. I to receive emails from Azamara and Celebrity but Royal Caribbean's stopped a few years a go. I started cruising exclusively with them in 2003. I've missed out on several offers from Casino Royale because of not receiving e-mails. Bugs me a major corporation can't figure this out. Argh!!

I have been told a few more times since I posted last May, almost a year ago that I would start getting emails from Royal Caribbean. I have been getting Azamara emails and Celebrity emails. Multiple of the same email from Celebrity. Still no emails from Royal Caribbean.......

I've been waiting for over 10 years. I've entered my email address countless times and still nothing. I get plenty from Azamara and Celebrity and I've never been on either one of them lines.

You're not missing much.

This happened to my friend, I was getting her emails, to my address. I called Royal Caribbean and they checked my personal profile, and had her name with my email address, because we once had linked our reservations,

They changed the contact info to my name, my email, and went to her profile and changed her email to hers. even before the new website changes, we couldn’t change it on our end, of course, now, we can’t change much on our profile ,

Me too. I have given up as well.

They told me that signing up again sets back getting the emails. Which makes no sense.

About a week ago when I logged onto Royal's site since I have a Royal cruise booked next January, they made me redo my log on password and info. Funny but they list me as a JR again. Obviously their new system is the same old system as the JR bug has happened before. So I checked the receive emails option again as part of that. So far still no emails. Twelve Celebrity emails last week. They send me 3 dupes of every email but while annoying that is better than zero emails. So if sister line can send me emails why not Royal? Two days ago I registered with Oceania as I have an Oceania Cruise booked. I checked their box to receive emails. This morning I received my first Oceania email.
