Question on specialty restaurant dining reservations

My DW and I are going on the Epic next month staying in the Haven. I made specialty restaurant reservations for all but one night. I left that one up to DW to decide. However, by the time she decided, eithet a restaurant was fully booked online and no longer appeared in the dining options, or our 2nd and 3rd choices will only accept reservations for 1, 4, or 8 people. What are my options? Can I make a reservation for 4 but only show up with 2 people? Or do they sit us with 2 other people? Can I still book a table for two with the Haven concierge onboard? I am new to Norwegian and so appreciate any advice on what to do. Thanks in advance for your help to this newbie.

There are less online reservations than total reservations. Just because online has "filled up" doesn't mean that all reservations are taken.

Your best option is to contact either the concierge desk (email) or the actual concierge once you are on-board.

For only 2, they should be able to get you what you want when you want it. You won't share a table with anyone unless you make friends while on-board and decide to dine together.

Yes. There is a concierge desk in the Havens lounge. On embarkation day, have them book/change your reservations. If a restaurant is oversold, even the concierge can't get a table sometimes, so stop by the desk soonest. The concierge staff is there to help.

If you book Corque, they will escort you down and seat you before the general seating starts.

For breakfasts on busy port days, we order room service. There is a breakfast card with check boxes. Ignore the checkboxes and write whatever you want from the Havens restaurant or MDR.

Eggs over easy, filet steak, ham, bacon, grilled tomato, mushrooms, has browns, breakfast potatoes, omelet , fresh fruit, breads, juices, and a Diet Pepsi.

I would make a reservation for your second choice. Once you get on board if you can switch to your first choice, do that. If you can't, then are least you have something reserved. Unless the meal is at teppanyaki, I would just make the reservation for 1. I've never seen any indication that they combine groups (outside or teppanyaki). So a reservation for 1 will still get you sat at a 2 top. Would just change it to 2 onboard.

Excellent recommendation. I hadn't thought of that. I did have an email from the shore concierge, but I guess I deleted it. Otherwise, I would contact them. Thanks again.

We are also NCL first timers in a family suite in the Haven. We are all early risers. Curious what time the Haven restaurants are busy on port days if you happen to remember or if you are an early riser as well. Thanks in advance!
