vacationmommy Posted February 16, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2017 We will be a penthouse suite on March 5th on the Jewel and have some early port excursions, I know we have priority boarding and disembarking at the start and end of the cruise, but will this extend to the ports as well? I know we did in all our other suite on other ships but this is our 1st time on Norwegian. Thank you!
triptolemus Posted February 16, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 16, 2017 Absolutely. The concierge will explain everything. Additionally, a letter will be left in your stateroom the night before explaining the priority disembark for each particular port. The only time it doesn't apply is if you've booked an excursion through the ship. In this case, you would skip the concierge's offer and meet the tour on or off the ship as per the instructions provided with your excursion tickets. If you happen to have an excursion through NCL that does meet off the ship, you can do both... use the concierge priority disembark to get out ahead of the crowd and meet your tour that way. Otherwise, take advantage of this great perk.
Linda the Book Lover Posted February 16, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 16, 2017 Yes, you will see a letter in your cabin about the meeting place and you will be escorted to the tenders or to the debarking point to exit the ship. The tender line is held back to allow you the early tender without getting a number.

Rare BirdTravels Posted February 16, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 16, 2017 If you are booked on NCL ShoreEx, they will tell you where to meet. Where priority disembark does not help.
casofilia Posted February 16, 2017 #6 Share Posted February 16, 2017 If you are booked on NCL ShoreEx, they will tell you where to meet. Where priority disembark does not help. Depends on the Concierge. Hanno used to collect the tickets at breakfast, go and get the coach stickers, then pick up his "customers" from his "office" and escort them to the front of any queue. Tricialy Posted February 19, 2017 #8 Share Posted February 19, 2017 Depends on the Concierge. Hanno used to collect the tickets at breakfast, go and get the coach stickers, then pick up his "customers" from his "office" and escort them to the front of any queue. Hanno is amazing - sailed with him twice. Usually you meet them in the area their desk is (varies by ship) and they take you down the staff elevator and escort you to the front of the line to have your card scanned and disembark.
