AQ Pillow Menu

We're in AQ for the first time in July (Equinox) and I'm wondering about the pillow menu. Is that something that is in the cabin when your first board and you chose the type of pillows that you want? Or do you have to ask about it?

Few have actually found a piece of paper with the pillow menu, but it does exist. If your cabin has one, it will be in the binder that contains other information about Celebrity and the ship. However, don't fret if can't locate it.

The choices are:

soft (normally in the room when you get there)

firm

foam (neck support)

body (very large pillow)

one other which I always forget

Your cabin steward should be able to find the pillow of your choice. Occasionally a cabin steward will say something like "we don't do that anymore" or equivalent which translated means "I'm too busy (or uninterested) to find a pillow for you". If they won't get you a pillow, call guest services and ask to speak to the head of housekeeping.

GH nailed it.

We had one steward tell us that they didn't do that anymore. He also told us they couldn't empty the refrigerator. We called guest services and both were taken care of when we returned from muster.

We love the foam isotonic pillows. Tried them on our first cruise and loved them so much we now use them at home. :)

On the last 3 cruises I've never been able to get them to empty my minibar, even in a sky suite. Never bothered to try escalating though and just take the stuff out and leave it on the counter. Never been charged and aren't dying for space, so could be worse I suppose.

We have sometimes asked to have our mini-bar emptied with no problem...although there can be a delay of many hours. It has been generally done by the room service staff...not our cabin steward. But on one cruise our steward just put all the mini--fridge stuff in a bag which he then stored under our bed :). Smart steward...and we later showed our appreciation.
