Cabin 8412 or 8712 on Freedom-class questions

Hi

 

looking at cabin 8412 or 8712 on Freedom-class and have some questions:

- does the balcony have lounge chairs or only the upright regular chairs?

- is the bed by the balcony or by the door?

- can you leave the balcony door open at night and hear the waves? Will there be other noise?

If you leave the balcony door open, you won't have A/C and you may also reduce the cooling ability of other nearby staterooms.

Its been a while since I was in either of those specific cabins but every aft cabin on Voyager/Freedom that I have had offered loungers along with the chairs.

Cant recall the bed/couch layout for those cabins specifically, sorry.

Bed is by the balcony. Looks like on Freedom, on this particular cruise it was chairs only on the balcony.
