Allure of the Seas change in dining time

My husband and I returned from a 7 day cruise on the Allure of the Seas and were surprised with the changes in the dining time. All of the meals were moved up by half an hour. This may not seem like a significant change, but when we were on port, it was impossible for us to be ready for dinner at 5:30 pm. It appears as if though Royal just experiences with the Allure to see if the changes stick!

As indicated by CruiserBruice this is not a unique situation with Allure and is not necessarily an experiment. A number of RCI ships have changed their traditional seating dining times similarly by moving them up 30 minutes. That is one of the reasons we choose MTD so that we can plan our dining according to our schedule, not theirs.

Hi, I'm a french canadian and we will be on allure of the seas in January 2018. For those who have been on this cruise, I'm a little bit concern about his age. built in 2010. Did you noticed that? It is looks old?

Sorry for my English, hope you understand :)

I am new to Allure of the Seas ...Will we have to wait on line if we have FreeStyle Dining?

RCI's version of FSD is called My Time Dining and with this option you can reserved preferred times in advance or on board and will be seated at that time. If reservations are not made, you may experience a wait, but depending upon your party size, typically that is not more than 10 minutes or so. Larger parties may have a longer wait, depending on your arrival time.

I also agree with CruiserBruce.

One will get responses here but I do find that you will get many more responses to questions that are specific to any cruise line on the dedicated cruise line board. In this case I would ask on the RCI Board.
