I am a senior also, and my DW and I really enjoy the eastern cruise. She enjoys shopping and I like to just walk around and people watch. We are not beach people anymore, too hot and don't need sunburn.

We are doing the western this year and so we will have a semi beach day at Labadee, but probably just shopping at Fairmouth and Cozumel.

Do either one, you can just look at the places you stop at from the ship and enjoy having the whole ship to yourself, very relaxing.

You need to avoid Oasis class ships, of which Harmony is one. Lots and lots of children and quite the "go, go" vibe. We just sailed both HOTS and Allure in the past 3 months and have decided not to sail that class again. By the way, when we sailed both ships it was NOT school holidays and there were still LOTS of children school age and younger on board.

We are a senior couple and we want some advice.

Which Caribbean cruise is more suitable for us. With less kids and young people.

We plan a cruise for next May.

What part of May? Late April, Earl May is a great time, Spring break is over, Summer vacation hasn't started. We love traveling this time of year. On the bigger ships like Harmony or the Oasis class you may still get some kids, but the ship is big enough to avoid them for the most part.

I don't agree 100%, May is not in the past 3 months. We have sailed many cruises in this time period and it is a little lighter on kids and I always say the Oasis class is big enough to draw people away from the things I am interested in.
